Alex Winkelman, Executive Director

Alex previously was the Chair of Dining for Darfur-Austin, a Director of the Tents of Hope campaign, and a consultant for Nike’s Human Race 10k. Her involvement ranges from being a reading mentor and gymnastics coach to traveling to Israel with the Young Adult Leadership Association and to Costa Rica to work with children. Alex is currently Executive Director of CharityBash and is a Social Entrepreneurship student at St. Edward’s University.

Graduating from UT with a Masters in Advertising and a minor in Business, Jessica currently works with the Austin American-Statesman as the Online Sales Coordinator. Jessica co-coordinated the 100 person Tents of Hope race team for Nike’s Human Race 10k in 2008 and previously participated in the United Way campaign Season for Caring. She is also a member of the Young Adult Division of the JCAA.
Donald Park, Development Director

Donald Park is a venture capital investor with Austin Ventures. Prior to working in this industry, Donald was an investment banker focusing on mergers & acquisitions and capital raising for Fortune 500 companies. He has been an active participant in various non-profit organizations in New York and Chicago prior to relocating to Austin. Donald holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and an AB in Economics from Princeton University.

Having grown up in Austin all her life, Katie has a vested interest in seeing Austin philanthropy grow. She is a senior majoring in English and Rhetoric at the University of Texas and works at University Realty. Before going to UT she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society at ACC and worked with Habitat for Humanity.

EmilyAnne is an Austin native and currently works as a Special Gifts Officer for the University of Texas' Central Development Office. She is a 2005 UT College of Communications Graduate. After spending two years in Washington D.C. as a Communications Strategist for numerous government clients, she moved to New York City and was an Account Executive for an International advertising agency. In addition to her work with Charity Bash, EmilyAnne is very active in community service locally and has done volunteer event management for organizations such as Lifeworks, New Milestones Foundation, The People Fund, Junior League of Austin and The Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo.

Cassie gradated cum laude from the Fashion Institue of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, earning a degree in Visual Communications with an emphases on Event Coordinating. A volunteer for Ronald McDonald House Charities since 2001, Casseie became ambassador for RMHC of the Four States when she was crowned Miss Missouri Teen 2004. Cassi is currently involved with the Austin RMHC, which includes her role as Participant Fundraising Chair for the 2009 Lights of Love 5k and Logistics Chair for the 2010 Bandan Ball. She is also on the Leadership Council as Communications Chair for Friends of the House, a young professional's group. Cassie works full time as the Assistant Manager of a local boutique.

Jenny Studied Journalism with an emphasis in P.R. and Early Childhood Education at Arizona State during which time she worked with Child Crisis & Development Centers of Arizona. Upon moving to Austin she began working with the Austin's Children's Museum building Early Childhood programs and currently works as a Marketing Associate for Whale Shark Media.
